Like many others, I’m a bit wary of “New Year’s Resolutions” — but that doesn’t mean I don’t have goals for myself this year. Here are a few that made the cut:
- Spend more time just having fun with my wife and daughters
- Read the New Testament
- Read one book per month
- Reach 170 lbs. or less
- Successfully ride a century on my road bike
- Help Chattarati continue growing its audience and influence
- Grow my freelance client base or start a new business
- Travel somewhere new outside the USA
- Learn more about photography
- Learn more about wine
What are your goals for 2009? How can we help each other?

I think everybody should have a list of things to do for 09, its a great motivator and can really make you do things that you’ve always dreamed of or but back because you’ve never been bothered or had no time for.
I’ve got my own list for this year and I plan on making it happen.
Thanks.
I’ve tried to get through the Gospels a couple times, but never made it past Mark. Our church is having a huge “Bible reading” campaign right now, trying to get people through the Bible in a year. It’s tough to have the discipline.
@Max - Good luck with your list!
@Deane - Our pastor is pushing it as well, with two options. One is to do the whole Bible, one is to do the New Testament. I chose the NT because it seemed more achievable, at just 5 chapters per week.
